Lawrence Wahl, owner

Larry's the man behind the ice cream.  Though we don't know what he does with his evenings, we do know that he rises before the rooster.  As early as 5:30 he can be found out back, shuffling through order forms, comparing cups and dishes, and generally prepping himself for fixing whatever crises may pop up during the day.

Racheal Robshaw, manager (eighth year)

The eldest child in the Dairy Port family, Raychie has been producing ice cream masterpiece after ice cream masterpiece for the past six years.  No one knows the ins and outs of this place like her.  When she's not at the window she can most often be found filling ice creams, stashing napkins so she can chuck the box, stuffing the cupboards with dishes, and making loud, obnoxious mosquito noises out back.

 Lindsay, shiftleader (seventh year)

She may look small and friendly, but...well, she is small and friendly, but she's also not afraid to use a little attitude to get her point across.  If that's not our policy, Lindsay's the one who will politely, but forcefully, tell you so.  Her cones are always perfectly symmetrical, often making them the envy of the newbies who are still struggling with the soft serve machine.  She can most often be found doing...pretty much anything to keep herself busy during those strange dead spots during the evening.

Seth, shiftleader (fifth year)

Sethie, Sethie, Sethie...We are all ice cream artists, but Sethie is the Da Vinci of the family.  In a word:  innovative.  He would rather not be bothered with boring soft-serve cones, but instead dreams of complicated sundaes and projects involving bananas.  To Sethie, every ice cream involving bananas has the potential to be a masterpiece.

Erin, ice cream artist (fourth year)

Erin's the writer of the family.  In fact, she's writing these bios right now.  This is her fourth summer working at the Dairy Port, and she's starting to realize that you never really get the hang of it.  Just when you think you've got it all figured out, a customer comes and asks for something that completely throws you, and you're back at square one.  To her, it's all a learning process.

Ashley, ice cream artist (third year)

Ashley caught on fast.  She didn't really ease into anything, just showed up on the crazy side of the window knowing what to do.  Like all newbies, she had some  trouble mastering the soft serve, or adding off the top of her head, but the fact that she can do either of these things still secures her a seat high above the rest of the general public.

Hannah, shiftleader  (third year)

Hannah wanted the job to help pay for Driver's Ed, but she undoubtedly had no idea what she was getting herself into.  The Dairy Port Family, though mostly functional, can be rough around the edges as any other family, but Hannah seems to be fitting in well.  Her cone tops are perfect, and Erin is jealous because she didn't  get those right until her second summer.  She especially enjoys polishing the dip tops, and her favorite is cleaning (when Raychie is there to supervise of course).

Erica, ice cream artist (third year)

The Demon Child... she seems quiet at first, but don't believe that for a second. Her grand plan in life is to marry an old guy for his money, but this job will get her by until then. She always has to be moving; she and Raychie often do laps around the shop.  Erica loves her truck and cannot picture herself driving a car.  She LIVES for Mud Pie ice cream. Erica has also recently been deemed The Flurry Fairy, because she is the only one crazy enough to ENJOY cleaning the Flurry Machine.

Coty, ice cream artist (second year)

Coty was a little timid at first, but it didn't take him long to catch on.   In fact, he was such a speedy learner that he was here on Festival Day, something that never happens until at least your third or fourth year.  Coty loves challenging himself and is always enthusiastic about learning how to make new things.  He's a bit of a perfectionist, so rest easy, you'll definitely get what you want from him.

Helen, ice cream artist (second year)

Helen always has a great story!  A little shy at first, she's getting the hang of it.  With a little hard serve experience under her belt already, she was a shoo-in for the job.   She enjoys rinsing rags,  cleaning the flurry machine, and laughing at Raychie when she makes messes.

Breanne, ice cream artist (second year)

Breanne's got a great smile.  From the very beginning at her interview to the present when she's taking your order, she's always got a smile on her face.  In fact, I bet she's smiling as she reads this.  She even smiles during the popular machine hang-up (i.e. you're running full steam ahead and your apron gets caught on the machine handle and yanks you backwards), or the rare occasion when she drops a cone in the sprinkles!
